Some updates

Hello everyone! I hope this post finds you well. Just wanted to share a few updates.

1. Im sure you have noticed there are issues on the blog. Apparently photobucket has been doing some major updates over the last day and a half or so. Im sure many of you fellow bloggers are also seeing these issues on your blog. Fran at Small Bird Studio {who designed this blog} has kept us well informed with photobuckets updates and hopefully this issue will be resolved soon.

2. I have added quite a few other buttons to the right for even more ways to remember our children. Here is a list of the most recent ones I have added. Stop on over and make a request.

3. I thank you all who have names in waiting for your patience. I have added a wait list to the right as well, just under my blog button, if you would like to see where your request is on the list. The list is read from top to bottom, so the name on top is the next one that will be done. I apologize for not having a moment to get to these names just yet but I will be posting some soon. If you have sent in a request and do not see your child(ren)'s name on the list within a few days please email me again as I may have not received your request.

Well that's it for updates. May is almost upon us... How do you plan to spend International Babylost Mother's Day? Id love for you to share the ways that you acknowledge your motherhood.

Button issues

So sorry everyone, my previous post with the new button evidently has some sort of issue with it and does not route back to the blog. I am in the process of trying to correct this. I will have an updated post with the correct HTML. The button to the right ----> will also have the updated code. I will let you all know for those of you that may have grabbed this button. Thanks!

Just a quick update. It was brought to my attention that the code to copy my button was missing. Silly me... I must have accidentally deleted it when I was maintaining the blog. Whoops. I had been wanting a new button anyway and thought today was as good a day as any to come up with a new button. And here she is:

Some exciting news!

I am very excited to share with you all that Walk To Remember Los Angeles now has an esty shop! I have been working hard with Cassie to get this up and running. We are happy to share that Walk To Remember Los Angeles is offering a Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Ribbon friendship bracelet! You can't get these bracelets anywhere else.

Check out our store for a more detailed description. But basically they come is 4 styles, with black or white backgrounds and with pastel or bright ribbons. These are handmade with lots of love and absolutely beautiful. All purchases are considered a tax deductible donation to Walk To Remember Los Angeles. And of course all the funds donated to WTRLA will go towards helping hurting families. But seriously, these are beautiful. The photos don't do them justice. International Babylost Mother's Day is just around the corner.What a beautiful gift this would make. It's a fantastic way for you to show your support for any BLM you know.

The reason behind it all

Today is my sweet Genesis' Angelversary. Today marks 4 years since she made me a mommy. This life of a BLM is so very hard to describe, but sadly, you all can understand. These past 4 years have felt like a lifetime, and yet it felt like it arrived here in the blink of an eye. Such a complicated thing to explain. I miss her so very much. Please if you would, take a moment to remember this most special little girl who was very much wanted. Who is very much missed. And who is very much loved and remembered. She is my inspiration for Names On The Sidewalk, and so much more. Thank you all for your love and support.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your support. Really, it means ever so much. I am happy to say that I am putting your donations to good use. Previously I had only been using the donations (and photo purchases) to purchase sidewalk chalk which I desperately needed. Thanks to all your support I have been able to get the chalk I needed and still have money left over. I have decided to use donations towards the purchases of memory boxes filled with items for grieving families. I am going to donate them to my local hospital. I am very excited about that. If you would like to make a donation in any amount in memory of your child(ren), please click on the 'Donate" button to the right. Your child's name will be added to the remembrance page. Every penny is much appreciated and goes to helping hurting families.

Also I ask that you please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I am approaching Genesis' 4 year anniversary of her birth/death next week. I can't believe its been 4 years without my little girl. Please remember her on March 16th. Thank you for your love.

Caught Up

I finally had a moment to do the names today. I thank everyone who was waiting for a name so much for being patient. It felt great to get back to writing these precious names. There are currently no names in waiting, so I am all caught up. Feel free to make requests for friends and family as well. What BabyLost Parent doesnt love seeing their child's name? Slowing down

Hello All!
I hope that time has been gentle on you all. I wanted to thank you again for those waiting on names to be written. I have recently gone back to work full time and it has taken away much, if not all, of my free time. I will still continue to write names but please know that the wait is a bit longer now than it was before. Please keep the requests coming. Thank you all for your continued support. Know that I think of all you beautiful parents and your equally beautiful children daily.

I thought a personal post was way overdue, so here it is :). Fist off I again want to thank you all for your continued support. If it wasnt for all of you sharing what I do, I wouldn't have been able to reach all the families I have already written names for. Please continue to share this blog and my facebook page with other bereaved parents so that I can continue to share my humble gift with them.
