A giveaway and special offers

I am having a giveaway on my other blog and wanted to share it with you all. The item that is up for grabs was chosen by the public, a magnet set. Click here to read the official rules and how to enter. Good luck! I also wanted to share that all the names that were in waiting as of yesterday have been written and are waiting to be posted. So keep your eyes out for that.

Lastly I wanted to share with you a new gift I have to offer you all. On my facebook fan page, I have added a new album titled "Special Offers". These are additional ways I have come up to write your child(ren)'s names for you. Here is an example of what I am offering:

Name in Laces

At this time I am only taking the requests for the special offers on the facebook page. To make a request simply post your request as a comment under the photo you want. A few things about these photos. The names in laces take a lot of time, adjusting and photo editing. I will try and meet all requests but some names are just too difficult to do and I may not be able to do it. It all depends on the length of the name (if it will fit on the laces) and the difficulty of the letters to be readable. I am in the process of getting boy shoes available. As for the glowing names, these too take a lot of work and it probably takes about 15 attempts before a name comes out looking ok, then add to that the photo editing as well. These photos will be made with the same Names On The Sidewalk watermark as the sidewalk photos. If you wish to have a photo without the watermark I ask that you please make a $5 donation over there ---> to cover the time that was put into making these beautiful keepsakes. The glowing names will be emailed to you as a high resolution jpeg that can be blown up. The name in laces is not offered as a high resolution jpeg at this time but will still be emailed to you. All donations will also add your child(ren)'s name to the memory wall. I hope you like these new offers.

A small update

Thank you once again for your patience.Things have been pretty busy around here and I have not had a moment to write names recently. You can check out the names on the wait list to the right to see where you are in line. I am going to make sure to make some time to write names this weekend.

Also I am having a giveaway on my other blog, Written From The Heart. The giveaway is to celebrate reaching {and exceeding} 200 'likes' on the facebook page. The fun thing about this giveaway is I am leaving it up to you to decide what item you want given away. To have a say, please 'like' my facebook fan page and then submit your vote on the poll that is on my wall. You have until Friday to enter. The item with the most votes will be the giveaway prize. Some updates

Hello everyone! I hope this post finds you well. Just wanted to share a few updates.

1. Im sure you have noticed there are issues on the blog. Apparently photobucket has been doing some major updates over the last day and a half or so. Im sure many of you fellow bloggers are also seeing these issues on your blog. Fran at Small Bird Studio {who designed this blog} has kept us well informed with photobuckets updates and hopefully this issue will be resolved soon.

2. I have added quite a few other buttons to the right for even more ways to remember our children. Here is a list of the most recent ones I have added. Stop on over and make a request.

If you have sent in a request and do not see your child(ren)'s name on the list within a few days please email me again as I may have not received your request.

Button issues

So sorry everyone, my previous post with the new button evidently has some sort of issue with it and does not route back to the blog. I am in the process of trying to correct this. I will have an updated post with the correct HTML. The button to the right ----> will also have the updated code. I will let you all know for those of you that may have grabbed this button. Thanks!

Just a quick update. It was brought to my attention that the code to copy my button was missing. Silly me... I must have accidentally deleted it when I was maintaining the blog. Whoops. Some exciting news!

I am very excited to share with you all that Walk To Remember Los Angeles now has an esty shop! I have been working hard with Cassie to get this up and running. We are happy to share that Walk To Remember Los Angeles is offering a Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Ribbon friendship bracelet! You can't get these bracelets anywhere else.

Check out our store for a more detailed description. But basically they come is 4 styles, with black or white backgrounds and with pastel or bright ribbons. These are handmade with lots of love and absolutely beautiful. All purchases are considered a tax deductible donation to Walk To Remember Los Angeles. And of course all the funds donated to WTRLA will go towards helping hurting families. But seriously, these are beautiful. The photos don't do them justice. International Babylost Mother's Day is just around the corner.What a beautiful gift this would make. It's a fantastic way for you to show your support for any BLM you know.

The reason behind it all

Today is my sweet Genesis' Angelversary. Today marks 4 years since she made me a mommy. This life of a BLM is so very hard to describe, but sadly, you all can understand. These past 4 years have felt like a lifetime, and yet it felt like it arrived here in the blink of an eye. Such a complicated thing to explain. I miss her so very much. Please if you would, take a moment to remember this most special little girl who was very much wanted. Who is very much missed. And who is very much loved and remembered. She is my inspiration for Names On The Sidewalk, and so much more. Thank you all for your love and support.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your support. Really, it means ever so much. I am happy to say that I am putting your donations to good use. Previously I had only been using the donations (and photo purchases) to purchase sidewalk chalk which I desperately needed. Thanks to all your support I have been able to get the chalk I needed and still have money left over. I have decided to use donations towards the purchases of memory boxes filled with items for grieving families. I am going to donate them to my local hospital. I am very excited about that. Every penny is much appreciated and goes to helping hurting families.

Slowing down

Hello All!
I hope that time has been gentle on you all. I wanted to thank you again for those waiting on names to be written. I have recently gone back to work full time and it has taken away much, if not all, of my free time. I will still continue to write names but please know that the wait is a bit longer now than it was before. Please keep the requests coming. Thank you all for your continued support.
